On Saturday, April 9, eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao produced a commanding victory in defeating Tim Bradley in their trilogy matchup at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Pacquiao (57-8-2, 38 KO’s) dropped Bradley (33-2-1, 13 KO’s) twice in the second half of the fight and may indeed be retiring after this victory.

On Saturday night, from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nev., eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao defeated former two-division titlist Timothy Bradley in clear fashion.

There were several close rounds, yet Pacquiao (57-8-2, 38 KO’s) again dominated key spots over the second half of the match, dropping Bradley (33-2-1, 13 KO’s) in rounds seven and nine. Nothing is for certain regarding Pacquiao’s future, yet the Filipino icon appears to be hinting towards retirement.

Moments ago, from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nev., eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao captued a clear unanimous decision victory against friendly rival Tim Bradley.

Pacquiao (58-6-2, 38 KO’s) started cautiously against Bradley (33-2-1, 13 KO’s), as the two men appeared to trade the early rounds. Pacquiao’s class began to show in the middle rounds, as he began picking Bradley off with sharp counters.

Later tonight, inside of the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nev., eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao will meet two-division titlist Tim Bradley in a trilogy showdown on HBO pay per view.

At yesterday’s weigh-in, Bradley (33-1-1, 13 KO’s) hit the scales at 146.5 pounds while Pacquiao (57-6-2, 38 KO’s) came in weighing 145.5 pounds. Pacquiao, the beloved Filipino icon, claims this will be his last official fight but there is a lingering sense that he will keep competing after this.

Photos from the StubHub Center in Carson, Calif. as two-division world champion Timothy Bradley (32-1-1, 12 KO’s) pulls out a 12-round unanimous decision victory over previously-undefeated junior welterweight titlist Jessie Vargas (26-1, 9 KO’s).

In a very competitive and fast-paced matchup, Bradley was a little too busy for Vargas, but had to survive a big scare in the final round when he was rocked in the closing seconds. The fight was stopped seven seconds prematurely in the final frame by referee Pat Russell, all the reason enough for Vargas and his team to cry foul and call for a rematch.

It’s about that time again for two-division world champion Timothy Bradley, who faces off with undefeated junior welterweight titlist Jessie Vargas this Saturday night inside of the StubHub Center in Carson, Calif.

The HBO-televised battle, set for the interim WBO welterweight belt, will show us how much Bradley (31-1-1, 12 KO’s) has left heading into a duel with a younger, seemingly fresher Vargas (26-0, 9 KO’s), who enlisted the services of the great Erik Morales for this camp after difficulties in finding time with his previous coach, Roy Jones Jr.

Following his 12-round split-draw with Argentina’s Diego Chaves on Dec. 13, former two-division titlist Tim Bradley still stands as one of the game’s most talented and marketable attractions heading into the New Year.

After all, the Chaves fight was widely-viewed as a Bradley victory despite the officials scorecards reading otherwise. Speaking with Bradley’s trainer Joel Diaz, he didn’t seem to set back with the official verdict.

Manny Pacquiao gets revenge over Tim Bradley at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas [RECAP]

Pacquiao made his arrival to the city and we were behind the scenes to capture the moment.

During Fight Week, prospect Lydell Rhodes, who was in camp with Pacquiao in both the Philippines and Los Angeles as a sparring partner, revealed some insight into Team Pacquiao’s strategy.

We also caught up with Pacquiao on the track early in the week

It was a hyped scene at the weigh-in, as you could tell both men were ready to end the tension and get things started.

Pacquiao pulled out the victory and Freddie Roach addressed the media afterwards
