It’s fight week in Las Vegas, as undefeated, two-division world champion Terence Crawford will be moving up in weight to challenge Jeff Horn for his WBO welterweight title. The Crawford vs. Horn match will take place from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. and will be aired on the ESPN + App starting at 9:30 p.m./ET.

On Saturday night, July 23, WBO junior welterweight champion Terence Crawford (29-0, 20 KO’s) won a clear unanimous decision over former WBC champion Viktor Postol (28-1, 12 KO’s) to capture the aforementioned belt.

Crawford dropped Postol twice in the fifth and controlled the majority of the rounds. The Omaha native was poised with his attack and his movement threw Postol off of his game.

It was business as usual for WBO junior welterweight champion Terence Crawford this past Saturday night, as he stopped a brave but outgunned Hank Lundy inside of five rounds in front of a sold-out crowd of 5,092 at the Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York.

On HBO’s airwaves, Crawford was calm and calculated as always, as he brushed off a strong start by Lundy before breaking him down in the fifth with a knockdown and a barrage of punches soon afterwards that prompted referee Steve Willis to call a halt to the action.

On Nov. 29, WBO lightweight champion Terence Crawford easily handled rugged former title challenger Ray Beltran over 12 rounds. Showing great movement and the ability to switch from lefty to righty throughout the night, Crawford was simply a few steps ahead of his courageous opponent, winning by scores of 120-108 and 119-109 twice.

Crawford has established himself as one of the rising faces in the the sport of boxing and he is also becoming a staple on HBO’s airwaves. And while he was a bit of an unknown commodity a few years back, not everyone has been shocked to see such success coming from the Omaha, Neb. native.

Often switching from orthodox to southpaw throughout the match, Crawford (25-0, 17 KO’s) just had too much grit and versatility on his favor, as scorecards reading 120-108 and 119-109 twice were in the favor of ‘Bud’.

Following his dominant victory over Chris Algieri this past weekend in Macau, China, eight-division world titlist Manny Pacquiao has seen his name thrust back into the headlines in a positive light.

Pacquiao looked very sharp vs. his younger, taller foe, registering six knockdowns over the course of their 12-round bout, ultimately grabbing a wide unanimous decision over Algieri.
