On Saturday night, from The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas, former two-division world titlist Tim Bradley (31-1-1, 12 KO’s) and Argentina’s Diego Chaves (23-2-1, 19 KO’s) battled to a split-draw verdict after 12 rounds of spirited action.
While not the biggest of punchers, Bradley still took the fight to his younger foe in the trenches in an action-packed melee.
Despite Bradley appearing to do enough to capture the win, the judges’ actually turned up a split-draw verdict. Julie Lederman had Chaves winning 116-112, while Burt A. Clements favored Bradley 115-113, with Craig Metcalfe having the match even 114-114.
