As the weeks pass by, so too do the number of championship-level fighters who continue to frequent City Athletic Boxing out in Las Vegas.
On Friday evening, Hustle Boss caught up with CAB gym owner and founder Armin Van Damme, as he was putting in some work on the mitts with emerging heavyweight prospect and 2012 U.S. Olympian Michael Hunter.
Now 9-0 as a professional with 6 knockouts, Hunter is coming off of a pair of stoppage victories on July 25 and previously on June 20.
His work with Van Damme was brisk and you can tell that the 27-year old is chomping at the bit to get back in the ring. We spoke with Hunter following his workout, as he gave his thoughts on training inside of City Athletic Boxing.
“It’s amazing,” Huter stated. “It’s a beautiful gym. They’ve got a gym inside and outside. They’ve got weights inside. They’ve got everything you need.”
Hunter hints that an Oct. 13 return could be in store and it’s a positive sign to see him already looking in shape.
“Staying ready so I don’t have to get ready,” Hunter explained.
