When I started up my new series Lost Files, I knew I would be digging through some throwback photos and going down memory lane a bit.

Photos have a way of bringing back memories in an instant, and such is the case when I look at pictures I shot of Roberto “La Amenaza” Garcia inside of Barry’s Boxing in Las Vegas in July of 2014. Garcia was preparing for a fight with hard-punching Colombian Breidis Prescott, a bout that he ended up winning by way of unanimous decision.

Earlier this week, inside of Barry’s Boxing in Las Vegas, Nev., former IBF welterweight champion Shawn Porter was seen putting in some spirited rounds with former three-division titlist Shane Mosley.

It’s always great to see fighters in the game helping each other out, whether in or out of the ring. Porter is coming off of his biggest victory to date, a June 20 decision over Adrien Broner, while Mosley is looking towards an Aug. 29 rematch with Ricardo Mayorga in Los Angeles.

It seems like just yesterday that we were in the trenches with Shane Mosley Jr. inside of the Mayweather Boxing Club, as the now 24-year old prospect was seen putting in some tough work with super middleweight banger Lanell “KO” Bellows.

Mosley is now 4-1 as a pro and has shown a definite improvement to his game the past year. The son of the living legend of the same name put in some more good work earlier this week when he and fellow middleweight Denis Douglin (19-4, 12 KO’s) got down inside of Barry’s Boxing.

Hustle Boss recently caught up with boxing legend Shane Mosley inside of Barry’s Boxing in Las Vegas, following some very rigorous work with former IBF welterweight champion Shawn Porter.

Mosley, a three-division champion during his day, is still actively fighting and will be locking horns with Ricardo Mayorga on Aug. 29 in a rematch in Los Angeles.

It’s been a little over a month since his latest performance and Shawn Porter is back to doing what he does best as he has returned to light training out in Las Vegas.

On March 13, Porter scored a 5th round stoppage over Ecuador’s Erick Bone to improve his ledger to 25-1-1 with 16 knockouts. The win helped erase the bad taste that came following Porter’s mild upset loss to UK star Kell Brook this past August.

In this video, Porter can be seen, alongside his father and trainer Kenny as well as cut man Mike Rodriguez, putting in some rounds with talented junior welterweight Emmanuel Taylor, who was then prepping for a July 18 date vs. Karim Mayfield. (A fight that Taylor won via unanimous decision).

HustleBoss.com steps inside of Barry’s Boxing in Las Vegas, Nevada as talented prospect Donte Strayhorn works with trainer Gerald Tucker Sr. ahead of his professional debut this Saturday night on the Timothy Bradley-Rusland Provodnikov undercard in Carson, California.

Strayhorn is with 50 Cent’s SMS Promotions and was scheduled for an appearance on the Billy Dib-Evgeny Gradovich IBF featherweight championship undercard earlier this month but saw the fight fall through after his opponent failed to make weight.
