Pacers Edge Thunder 111-110 on Tyrese Haliburton’s Game-Winning Jumper in Game One of NBA Finals

The visiting Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 117-95 in Game 1 of their first-round Western Conference playoff series.

The win can be looked at as a minor upset given the odds of the series heading in.

Denver Nuggets Win Overtime Thriller in Game One Opener vs. Clippers, 112-110

The Denver Nuggets pulled off a thrilling 112-110 overtime victory over the Los Angeles Clippers in Game 1 of the 2025 NBA Playoffs. 

The Clippers jumped to an early 15-point lead behind James Harden and Ivica Zubac, but Denver’s bench sparked a comeback, with three-time MVP Nikola Jokic orchestrating the offense.

The Denver Nuggets Are One Win Away From Their First NBA Championship

This marks a special time for the Denver Nuggets, as their franchise is officially one win away from winning their first NBA Championship.

This past Friday night, the Nuggets again  turned back a resilient Miami Heat squad to hold on to a 108-95 victory on the road. The win marked Denver’s second consecutive win on Miami soil, and pushes their NBA Finals series to 3-1 in their favor.

Video: Miami stuns San Antonio in overtime 103-100; check out the 3-pointer from Ray Allen at the end of regulation

Earlier tonight at the American Airlines Center in South Florida, the defending NBA champion Miami Heat capped off an incredible comeback with a stirring 103-100 victory in overtime over the San Antonio Spurs.

The Heat were down by double-digits in the 4th quarter but their team captain Lebron James helped to rally the team. An incredible 3-pointer by Ray Allen near the end of regulation helped to send the game into overtime. Check out the play above.

As the Miami Heat go for another title, Chris Bosh set to welcome another child with wife Adrienne

According to a report from UrbanBelleMag.com on Monday, May 13, it appears that Miami Heat star power forward Chris Bosh and his wife Adrienne are expecting their second child together.

The news was confirmed via Twitter by NBC 6’s Roxanne Vargas, who seemed elated to spread the word.

“So honored to share the news first that @MrsAdrienneBosh and @chrisbosh are expanding the family! Congratulations!” stated Vargas.

Seventh-seeded Los Angeles Lakers have a date with the Spurs in the first round of the playoffs

Los Angeles Lakers’ star forward Kobe Bryant made a promise months ago that his team would make the playoffs.

On Wednesday night, April 17, the Lakers defeated the Houston Rockets 99-95 to clinch the seventh playoff spot in the Western conference.

Kobe Bryant later took to his twitter account to announce “Playoff promise fulfilled #ontothenext.”

Of course, Bryant is recovering from surgery following a torn Achilles and will not actively be playing when the Lakers meet the San Antonio Spurs in the first round of the playoffs.
