Hustle Boss was on hand inside of the MGM Grand Garden Arena’s Media Tent on Thursday, June 18, as Canada’s Phil Lo Greco took the dais.

While it’s not surprising to see Lo Greco around boxing circles, those in the fight game were caught off guard when they found out that the rugged Italian will be stepping in for Roberto Garcia to face off with undefeated upstart Errol Spence Jr. (16-0, 13 KO’s) on Saturday night from the MGM Grand as part of a “Premier Boxing Champions” telecast on NBC.

For Broner, it was yet another chance to sound off on Team Porter, as he continues  to imply that father and trainer Kenny is the one running the show, even hinting that the star fighter’s father is keeping money from his son.

Broner (30-1, 22 KO’s), the three-division champion from Cincinatti, Oh., has been anything but shy leading up to the match and continued to take parting shots at Shawn Porter as well as his father Kenny at the final presser.

It was definitely a packed scene on Wednesday afternoon in Las Vegas inside of the Mayweather Boxing Club.

The facility typically fills up during most media days and with Floyd Mayweather making an appearance to help drum up what is already a big fight with this weekend’s Adrien Broner (30-1, 22 KO’s) vs. Shawn Porter (25-1-1, 16 KO’s) melee, there was quite a lot to take in.

Looks like Philadelphia’s Danny Garcia has elected to relinquish his WBC junior welterweight title that he captured in March of 2012 after defeating Erik Morales.

Garcia’s last two contests, a majority-decision over Lamont Peterson in April and a 2nd round knockout over Rod Salka this past August, were fought above the junior welterweight limit of 140 pounds and those in the industry knew well ahead of time that it was time for the young champion to move up.

This past Saturday night, inside of the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, Amir Khan overcame a very courageous Chris Algieri over 12 rounds.

Algieri was coming off of a lopsided unanimous decision defeat to Manny Pacquiao in November and he was a heavy underdog. Instead, the sharp-witted New Yorker found a way to prove the odds wrong by putting up a very spirited effort and even catching Khan with some big shots along the way.

Badou Jack was unfazed by the pre-fight trash talk of Anthony Dirrell Friday night at the UIC Pavilion in Chicago, Jack out hustled his opponent and showed great poise on his way to winning the WBC super middleweight title.

Jack (19-1-1) was knocked out last year in a major upset by Derrek Edwards; but won a majority decision in a competitive fight vs. Dirrell. One judge had it at 114-114 the second and third judges had it 116-112 and 115-113 respectively. HustleBoss also had it 115-113 for Badou Jack.

Daniel Jacobs feels ready for anyone in the middleweight class following late TKO over Truax

Daniel “Miracle Man” Jacobs (29 -1) stopped Caleb Truax ( 25-2-2) in the 12th round to defend his WBA interim middleweight title on Saturday night from within the UIC Pavilion in Chicago, Ill. on Spike TV.

In what was an uneventful fight, Jacobs eventually landed some huge shots in round 11 to back Truax on the ropes. Ultimately Jacobs proved to be the better man as he was winning the fight by a wide margin an ended up scoring a TKO in the 12th and final round.
