On Wednesday afternoon, Sep. 9, Floyd Mayweather and Andre Berto came face to face at their final press conference ahead of their pay per view collision on Saturday night.

Mayweather (48-0, 26 KO’s) faces off with Berto (30-3, 23 KO’s) on SHOWTIME pay per view from the MGM Grand and while the fight wasn’t at first greeted by open arms from the boxing public, there is no doubt that several eyes will be fixated on the matchup this weekend given the fact that it may be Floyd’s final appearance in the ring.

On Tuesday afternoon, Sep. 8, five-division world champion Floyd Mayweather (48-0, 26 KO’s) and his next foe, former WBC welterweight champion Andre Berto (30-3, 23 KO’s), made their official arrivals to Las Vegas ahead of their SHOWTIME pay per view matchup this weekend.

Mayweather and Berto both appear in great spirits as the fight, possibly Mayweather’s last in his illustrious career, draws near.

On Thursday, Aug. 6, Floyd Mayweather came face to face with Andre Berto inside of  JW Marriott at L.A. Live in Los Angeles, Calif.

Mayweather (48-0, 26 KO’s) will face Berto (30-3, 23 KO’s) on SHOWTIME pay per view on Sep. 12 from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas and he has been looking sharp, as is always the case, back in training camp.

Once again, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. has failed to make weight ahead of a highly-critical matchup vs. the very formidable Marcos Reyes. Chavez (48-2-1, 32 KO’s) and Reyes (33-2, 24 KO’s) agreed to a catch-weight limit of 169 pounds for their SHOWTIME-televised brawl, yet the son of the Mexican legend of the same name came in weighing 170.8 pounds.

Reyes was under the limit at 168.4 pounds, and despite Chavez not coming back to the scale to attempt to make the weight, the fight will still push forward. Check out the photos below for more photos.

Deontay Wilder survives early scare; regroups to drop Eric Molina four times en route to 9th round KO

In front of a sold out crowd of 8,500 inside of the Bartow Arena in Birmingham, Ala., WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (34-0, 33 KO’s) scored a successful first defense of his title vs. tough Eric Molina (23-3, 17 KO’s).

Wilder was a huge favorite heading into the fight but actually had some rocky moments when he was caught in the third round. Following that stanza, Wilder regrouped and scored a knockdown in the fourth, two in the fifth, before finishing the match off with a big overhand right that put his opponent out and on his back.

Photos from Embassy Suites in Birmingham, Ala. as undefeated WBC heavyweight champion Deontay “The Bronze Bomber” (33-0, 32 KO’s) faces off with challenge Eric Moina (23-2, 17 KO’s) two days prior to their SHOWTIME-televised duel this Saturday night.

Wilder captured the WBC belt this past January in Las Vegas by defeating Bermane Stiverne over 12 rounds and he will be looking for a first successful defense inside of the Bartow Arena in Birmingham this weekend.
